Is Tales by Mail the right level for my child?

We know that aged 8-12 is a big age range and that all children read at different levels. The books that we select to go in our boxes are broadly advised for readers aged 8-12 – that means if you were to go into a bookshop and look for a book for your child you’d find these books on a shelf labelled for “tween readers” or “middle grade books” or very simply… “readers aged 8-12”.
